Having been in the music scene for quite some time, Dj Vanish has had the opportunity to open for, and share stages with, some well-known artists, including: Sasha, Kaskade, Kimball Collins, D:Fuse, Roger Sanchez, George Acosta, Charles Feelgood, Victor Calderone, Barry Weaver, Deepsky, Jon Bishop, Simply Jeff and Infected Mushroom, just to name-drop a few. When he’s not on the stage, he’s still hard at work. In fact, he wrote a song for an Extreme Sports T.V. pilot on Altitude T.V. and played MTV’s The Real World Denver, Colorado Welcome.
After being behind the decks for so long, Vanish decided to take his knowledge of event production to the next level. In 2005, he teamed up with his long time friend, Brandon Butler (aka. Technical Endeavor), to help run a newly formed electronic production company — One Productions. Since 2005, One Productions has been a heavy hitter, producing large scale, memorable events, such as: the "Massive" series, "Lost in Paradise," “Winter Wonderland,” as well as various other music events and club nights. One Productions has yet to falter. In fact, it appears to just be getting stronger.
Currently, Dj Vanish calls Denver, Colorado home. In 2008, he launched Velcro City Records (VCR) with the debut release “Mile High City,” a single containing four remixes. VCR’s start-up was easy, almost as if Vanish had started at the top of the music industry incline; rather than the bottom. From VCR’s commencement, one of the four “Mile High City” mixes hit the top 100 on beatport.com. It was then followed by a second, successful release, “Drifting in Life,” which also reached the top 100 on beatport.com. VCR started at the top, and has yet to plummet. No one doubts that, with Dj Vanish’s dedication and ingenuity, VCR will continue its rise. DJ Vanish believes in pushing the limits.
DJ Vanish’s music can be found on beatport.com, iTunes, djdownload.com, audiojelly.com, and many more.
