It’s hard to say when dance slipped itself into human culture—unlike say cave painting with its physically recoverable evidence and visible artifacts—but from the moment it showed up on our doorstep, dancing was here to stay. Till this day, we love us some stellar performance dancing or else talent and dance shows wouldn’t still be in booming business and multiplying like so many rabbits in love. Speaking of love, if dance is something that fires you up like a stream of hot lava bursting out of Mount Vesuvius, then cross out all your appointments for December 6th and save the date! For one night only, Steelo Benefit – Night of Dance is hot stepping it over to the Saban Theatre for a seriously entertaining evening in support of fellow dancer in need, Richard “Steelo” Vazquez.
A leading member of some of the nation’s top dance crews (The Groovaloos, Killafornia, plus Footwork Fanatix to name a few), Steelo suffered a series of ruptured brain aneurysms and is in the process of a very grueling rehabilitation process. To show their love and support, an unprecedented gathering of the nation’s top dance crews will come together for Night of Dance in an attempt to raise some funds for Steelo’s long recovery process to come. Hosted by Anjelah Johnson and Affion Crockett, the night’s performances will feature Jabbawockeez, Team iLuminate, Supercr3w, The Groovaloos, The LXD, Killafornia, The Beat Freaks, and more! Don’t miss out on this night of dance community unity and monumental moves.
